A person of interest was taken into custody after one person was shot and killed in Kent on Friday night.
The shooting happened around 6 p.m. at the home on Cornwall Road, according to police.
Police said the person in custody is not a suspect and has not be placed under arrest. The person is fully cooperating with detectives while the investigation remains active.
There is no threat to the public, police said.
