A 28-year-old Bloomfield man who was shot in broad daylight in the downtown Hartford area Wednesday is dead and police have identified him.
Jordan Williams, of Bloomfield, was shot just after 1 p.m. in a back parking lot on Sumner Street and died at the hospital, police said.
Police said Williams might have gotten into a car with the shooter at one point. They told NBC Connecticut narcotics were found but it was unclear who the drugs belonged to.
Police are investigating the shooting as a homicide.
