Police are investigating a shooting in New Haven that injured a 47-year-old man on Tuesday morning.
Officers were called to West Park Avenue between Eldert Street and Whalley Avenue around 7:30 a.m. after getting a report of a person shot.
Investigators said they identified a 47-year-old man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported to Yale-New Haven Hospital to be treated for his injuries.
The man's injuries were determined to be non-life threatening and he has been stabilized, police said.
A crime scene was found and the Investigative Services Division and Bureau of Identification responded.
