Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a 21-year-old man in New Haven in 2014.
Isaiah Conyers, 21, was found suffering from a gunshot wound at 61 Warwick Street in New Haven around 2 p.m. on Nov. 18, 204 and police said they believe he was shot in the doorway to the apartment.
Conyers was taken to Yale-New Haven Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said.
Police obtained an arrest warrant on Friday charging Latrell D. Roundtree, 20, of New Haven, with first-degree manslaughter with a firearm, carrying a pistol without a permit and risk of injury to a minor.
Bond was set at $700,000 and police will be holding a news conference at 5 p.m. and members of Conyers family will be there.
Roundtree is a convicted felon who is currently incarcerated on unrelated charges, according to police, who said he was not a convicted felon at the time of the homicide.
