A woman was rushed to Middlesex Hospital hitting a rock ledge on Route 154 in Haddam on Wednesday morning.
Police said the woman pulled out from Thayer Road and hit a rock. Route 154 was closed between Haddam and Higganum, but a truck responded and removed the car from the scene.
Police are investigating, but said the woman might have had a heart attack.
