Woman Arrested for Stabbing Another Woman at Motel in Enfield: PD

A woman was stabbed by another woman at the Red Roof Inn on Hazard Avenue in Enfield Friday afternoon.

The incident happened at about 2 p.m. Officers responded to the area for a report of a woman bleeding from a wound to her leg.

Responding officers determined that a stabbing happened at the motel. They established a perimeter and identified the crime scene. Authorities said they recovered a folding knife that was used and identified the suspect.

The stabbing was caught on video surveillance at the motel. The extent of injuries is unknown at this time.

A woman was arrested and she faces charges for assault, breach of peace, and carrying a dangerous weapon, according to police.

Police said the woman is being held on a $50,000 bond. The investigation remains ongoing.
