New Haven Police are searching for an SUV that was involved in a fatal hit and run accident early this morning.
The accident occurred at the Intersection of Howard and Spring Streets around 3:30 a.m.
A witness told police that a tan colored SUV collided with a motorcycle and immediately fled the scene.
The victim, a 34-year-old West Haven resident was taken to Yale New Haven Hospital where he died of his injuries.
Police are currently withholding the victim's name.
Police continue to look for a tan colored SUV with shiny rims, a broken window and other possible damage to the vehicle.
