Manchester police are still searching for a possible armed gunman who walked into People's Choice Pizza on Middle Turnpike West on Wednesday and fired several shots into the ceiling.
Police and the Manchester fire department responded to the area after reports of a gunman holding people hostage inside a restaurant.
Employees were able to get out of the building unharmed, but the SWAT team responded to make sure the man wasn't still inside the building or holding any hostages.
A representative from Manchester Hospital said the hospital was put on lockdown to protect its employees and patients due to the restaurant being in such close proximity.
Detectives are reviewing evidence.
