A police SUV crashed through a fence and ended up on a retaining wall in Meriden on Monday afternoon.
The incident happened on Maple Street. That road was closed from Main Street while police investigated.
It was not clear was caused the accident.
Police at the scene told NBC Connecticut that the officer involved was expected to be alright.
