North Haven police have scaled back a search for a wanted and possibly armed suspect.
There was a heavy police presence in the Upper State Street area near Hartford Turnpike while officers tried to track down a wanted suspect who might be armed, but police have since cleared the area.
Anyone who may see something suspicious is asked to call 911.
