A raccoon caught on Gypsy Lane in Meriden tested positive for rabies, according to Meriden Animal Control.
They said a resident caught it and brought it to animal control.
The raccoon was euthanized and tested positive on Tuesday, according to the City of Meriden Department of Health & Human Services.
