Radio Personality Paid $350,000 in Gambling Debts: Report

Before being arrested on gambling charges, court documents now reveal that radio personality Sebastian paid more than $350,000 in gambling debts, the Hartford Courant reports.

Sebastian, whose real name is Joseph Schlosser, was arrested in connection with a year-long investigation by state police.

According to court documents, the Courant reports, Schlosser told investigators he has been betting on sports events for much of his life. He currently hosts an NFL pregame show on WTIC, but the show has not aired since his arrest.

A dozen others are also facing charges in the investigation, including Randy Petroniro, a Wolcott town official who has since resigned.

State police said there could be more arrests.
