Rain Forces Earlier Start Time for Tony Orlando Concert at East Haven Festival

The Tony Orlando concert has been moved up a few hours at the East Haven Fall Festival due to possible shower Saturday night.

The concert, expected to draw thousands, was originally scheduled for 9:30 p.m., but the time has been changed to 6 p.m. because of "the threat of rain," festival organizers said on the event's Facebook page

'70s pop sensation Tony Orlando is known for his song "Knock Three Time," sung with his duo singer Dawn, which was number one on the Billboard charts in 1971 and is heard in the movie "Now and Then," according to billboard.com.

His biggest hit to date is "Tie a Yellow Ribbon," released in 1973, according to billboard.com
