The NBC Connecticut First Alert meteorologists are tracking severe weather to the west of the state that could also bring strong storms into Connecticut.
There is a low risk for a severe thunderstorm Thursday night between 11 p.m. and 1 a.m. The main threats from these storms are gusty winds, heavy rain and lightning and possibly hail.
The storms will be isolated and many towns won't see anything.
These thunderstorms have produced damage in New York and Pennsylvania, and prompted several tornado warnings. They are expected to weaken by the time they reach Connecticut.
