NBC Connecticut meteorologists expect a rainy and windy end to your weekend.
There will be rain, which could be heavy at times, through the day today.
Remnants of what was Tropical Storm Olga combined with a cold front and will bring us rounds of moderate to heavy at times rain through the afternoon.
One to two inches of rain is likely across most of the state.
We can also expect winds to gust 20-30 mph. There will be higher gusts along the shoreline.
This will cause minor coastal flooding in New Haven and points west.
The rain will quickly come to an end this evening with a nicer day ahead for Monday.
