High temperatures will be near 60 degrees for several days and the weather will remain dry through the weekend. December-like weather is nowhere to be found.
The morning fog that's become a common occurrence will return again tomorrow morning, but it will burn off and give way to afternoon sunshine. Highs will range from the middle to upper 50s.
Sunshine will blend with clouds this weekend and it will feel nothing like December.
High temperatures are expected to soar into the upper 50s Saturday, before going even higher on Sunday. That's when lower 60s are expected.
Now, given the changeable weather in New England, Mother Nature could throw a wrench into the forecast. A sneaky backdoor cold front will divide New England on Sunday.
Should it slip into Connecticut, those on the northern side of the front would be stuck in the 50s at best. South of the front, it would still be warm. As of Thursday, this has a low probability of happening. The forecast still calls for lower 60s on Sunday.
A storm arrives Monday, but not in winter fashion – it will be all rain. Timing looks to be later Monday into Tuesday.

Clearing should commence at some point on Tuesday, though it will be windy with high temperatures earlier in the day in the lower 60s. That would be record-breaking along the shoreline.
Mostly sunny weather should return Wednesday with highs in the lower 50s. That's still 10 degrees above the average high.
The above average warmth shows no signs of letting up heading into next week.
It goes without saying that averages continue to go down heading into the dead of winter, so while numerous back-to-back days in the 60s will become increasingly unlikely, 50 can be in the cards.
El Niño will likely hold steady through the winter months, and the resultant weather pattern that Connecticut's currently in will likely continue. That would result in temperatures near or above average as the calendar flips from 2015 to 2016.
That's not to say some snow won't fall, but it probably won't be a blockbuster winter for snow.
