The day after massive flooding, several roads across Connecticut remain closed.
Bristol: Route 72 closed at Old Waterbury Road because of wash out. This is the detour: Route 72 to Old Waterbury Road, to Tunnel Street, to Canal Street, back to Route 72. Also, Route 72 is closed from Route 372 at the Plainville town line to Lincoln Avenue because of flooding.
Canton: Route 179 near Route 44 is closed because of a sinkhole.
Chester Hadlyme Ferry: closed until further notice due to high water.
Danbury: Kenosia Avenue is closed between Backus and Route 6.
Kent: Route 7 is closed in the center of Kent and Bulls Bridge is closed because of flooding.
Roxbury: Route 317 at Bacon Road is closed due to flooding.
