One resident jumped from a burning building after fire broke out at an apartment building in New Britain on Friday night.
Firefighters responded to 18 Farmington Ave. at 10:14 p.m. and found fire on the first floor of the multi-unit apartment complex.
All residents of the 12-unit building were out when firefighters responded and they said one adult jumped from a window and was later treated at a local hospital.
Ten adults and four children were and have received assistance from the American Red Cross.
The New Britain fire marshal’s office is investigating the cause of the fire.
