Reward Offered for Tips in Fatal Arson

Three family members were killed in the blaze.

A $2,500 reward is being offered for information leading to arrests in a New Haven fire that killed three family members.

Quayshaun Roberson, 8, his mother Wanda Roberson and a cousin Jaqueeta Roberson all died in the fire at 48-50 Wolcott St.on March 9. Officials said the fire was arson.

The medical examine has determined that Quayshaun and Wanda died of smoke inhalation, homicide. Because the coroner does not have a positive identification on Jaqueeta, so no cause of death has been released.  

The FBI is investigating.

The investigation is still ongoing and any information regarding the fire can be called in to 203-946-6304. All tips will remain anonymous.

The reward is offered by the Connecticut Arson Tip Program, according to the New Haven Register. If you have information, you call 1-800-84-ARSON. 

Monetary donations can be sent to 62 Treat Street Apt 214, West Haven, CT 06516. Checks and money orders should be made out to Terry Payne, the victims' cousin.
