Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Hammonasset Beach State Park in Madison, Sherwood Island State Park in Westport and Silver Sands State Park in Milford closed for the day after the parking lots reached capacity on Friday morning.
The Department of Energy and Environmental Protection said Rocky Neck State Park and beach closed to more visitors just past 10 a.m.
Hammonasset closed around noon and Silver Sands closed just after 12:30 p.m.
State parks are limited to 50% capacity as part of the state's coronavirus guidelines to help with social distancing.
