One person was injured in a crash on Route 72 west in Plainville Thursday afternoon, according to state police.
Plainville police said that Route 72 was closed going westbound just before exit 1 around 5:30 p.m.
State troopers said a truck crashed over the embankment.
Lifestar transported one victim to the hospital for injuries but the extent of those injuries was not clear.
Route 72 has since been reopened after being shut down for approximately five hours.
