Colchester Man Seriously Injured in Hebron Crash

A Colchester man was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a crash on Route 85 in Hebron Sunday afternoon.

According to Connecticut State Police, 57-year-old Benjamin Labonosky IV was driving his motorcycle on Route 85 in Hebron when the accident occurred. Police said that Labonosky was slowing down to make a left turn into the Twin Lakes Tavern parking lot when he was rear-ended by a car that was traveling behind him.

Labanosky was ejected off his motorcycle and suffered life-threatening injuries in the crash. He was taken to Hartford Hospital for treatment.

The occupants of the car were unhurt, police said.
