Minor Injuries in Meriden School Bus Crash

The crash happened at Bradley and Coe avenues.

Two students were taken to the hospital after the school bus they were on rear-ended a car at Bradley and Coe avenues in Meriden on Friday morning, police said.

Eight children were onboard when the crash happened just before 8 a.m and two of them were taken to the hospital at the request of their parents.

Officials referred to the injuries as "bumps and bruises" and the scene was clear by 9 a.m.

There was minimal damage to the school bus.

No information is yet available on the ages of the students or what school they were heading to.
