A search resumed on Monday morning for a 53-year-old New Hartford woman who disappeared while kayaking on New Year's Day.
Patricia Cole was out on West Hill Pond in New Hartford around 8 p.m. on New Year's Day and a friend called police at 6 a.m. the next day to report she never returned.
Search crews found the yellow kayak and a paddle glove, but have not yet found Cole.
The initial search was suspended because of ice on the pond and a state police dive team will be searching today.
The search will continue on Tuesday if necessary.
