One person has died after a crash on Interstate 84 in Waterbury Thursday night.
Connecticut state Police said the crash happened on the exit 18 off-ramp from I-84 west around 7:45 p.m.
Two people were thrown from the vehicle and one was pronounced dead at the scene. State police are notifying the person’s family, so they have not released the name.
The other person was transported to Waterbury Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.
The exit 18 off-ramp was closed for several hours.
Police are continuing to investigate.
