One person has died after a crash involving a dump truck on Route 75 in Suffield on Wednesday morning.
Emergency crews received numerous 911 calls about a serious two-vehicle crash on North Main Street near High Street around 8:45 a.m.

WATCH HEREOnce crews were at the scene, police found one driver with serious injuries. The person later died, police said. Authorities have not released the person's name.
According to police, additional assistance was requested from the Department of Motor Vehicles Truck Unit because one of the vehicles involved in the crash was a dump truck.

SIGN UP A fuel leak also prompted a response from the state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection.
The area was closed so the accident reconstruction team could investigate the crash. It has since reopened.
