One person is in critical condition after a crash in Vernon Tuesday night.
Police responded to Union and Ward streets at 6:10 p.m. after two vehicles crashed.
They said the driver of a 2012 Hyundai Accent was transported to Hartford Hospital with serious injuries and is now listed in critical condition. No one else was in the vehicle.
The driver and a passenger of the 2013 BMW X5 were transported to Rockville Hospital to be treated for minor injuries.

Both vehicles were towed from the scene.
Vernon Police and Metro Traffic Services are investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call Officer Dominic Marandino at 860-872-9126.
