Services Tuesday for Plainfield Soldier Killed in Afghanistan

Services will be held on Tuesday morning for Frank Adamski, a soldier from Plainfield who was killed in action while fighting in Afghanistan.

Adamski was killed the day before he would have turned 27.

A service will be held at 11 a.m. at St. John the Apostle Church in Plainfield. He will be buried later at Arlington National Cemetery. 

Adamski graduated from Plainfield High School in 2002.

He leaves behind his wife, Danielle, their 1-year-old daughter, Victoria Grace Adamski, and many other loved ones.

A gathering will be held at the Plainfield VFW following the service, according to his obituary. The family requests that you bring a dish and many fond memories of Frank. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SSG Frank E. Adamski III Scholarship c/o Plainfield High School P.O. Box 218 Central Village, CT 06332.
