Several cars were on fire outside an auto shop in Plainville Friday morning.
Firefighters responded to Hultenius Street around 4 a.m. after someone who was driving by reported the fire, according to fire officials.
They said six cars were on fire. There was also some minor damage to the building.
The fire marshal is investigating.

The state Department of Energy and Environmental Protection was notified because of water runoff.
