Several popular parks and beaches are at full parking capacity Sunday.
According to the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection, Rocky Neck State Park in East Lyme, Lake Waramaug State Park in Washington, Burr Pond State Park in Torrington, Wadsworth Falls State Park in Middletown, Mount Tom State Park in Litchfield, Pattaconk Lake Recreation area in Cockaponset State Forest, Gardner Lake State Park and boat launch in Salem and Squantz Pond State Park in New Fairfield are all closed to new vehicles at this time.
New Haven city officials say that Lighthouse Point Park is also at capacity and closed to additional visitors.
