Severe Weather Moves Out, Clearer Skies Tuesday

The NBC Connecticut meteorologists are tracking the threat for severe storms Monday, with things clearing up overnight and looking up for Tuesday.

Severe thunderstorm warnings were issued for Litchfield County, Windham County and Hartford County throughout the night.

Locally heavy rain began moving in around 3 p.m. and the threat of storms will continue until about 11 p.m. There is still the chance for scattered thunderstorms overnight. Things remain warm and humid.

Tuesday will be mostly sunny and warm with highs in the mid-80s.
