Expect heavy traffic delays on New Park Avenue and Flatbush Avenue in West Hartford because of a sewer installation.
West Hartford police warn drivers to avoid the following areas:
Southbound New Park Avenue, south of Flatbush Avenue, will be closed. Only the northbound lane will be open to the intersection.
Drivers traveling southbound on New Park Avenue, north of the intersection, will be forced to divert east or west on Flatbush Avenue.
Traffic eastbound and westbound on Flatbush Avenue traffic will be traveling with alternating lanes.
Expect delays until 10 a.m. or noon.
