Teens Charged in Restaurant Worker's Death

Six teens have been arrested, accused in stabbing to death a restaurant worker as he walked home in New London after his shift.

Police said Matthew Chen, 25, was on his cell phone, negotiating a drug by when he was attacked on Oct, 29, and he had no connection with the suspected assailants.

Idris Elahi, 17, of New London, was arrested Tuesday and charged with murder and Marquis Singleton, 17, of New London, surrendered to police on Tuesday night. He was also charged with murder.

Police charged Matias Perry, Rashad Perry and Tyree Bundy, all 17, and Brian Rabell, 18, as accessories.

All six will be arraigned on Wednesday.
