A skunk in Waterford has tested positive for rabies, according to the Ledge Light Health District.
The skunk was discovered in the area of Avery Lane and was tested for rabies. The results came out positive on Monday.
The health district warns the public not to feed or approach animals that are wild or stray.
No further information was immediately available. It's unknown if anyone was injured.
