Snow Blankets State, Making Travel Difficult

Roads are slippery across the entire state as a band of snow moved across Connecticut Thursday morning.  As of noon, we were under a Winter Weather Advisory.

Meteorologist Bob Maxon predicted 1" to 4", with heavier amounts in the higher elevations.  Major cities should see 2" of snow after the snow leaves the state by 2 p.m.

The snow has led to numerous accidents on the state's roads, including this tractor-trailer incident on I-95 in Fairfield Thursday morning.
