Overnight Snow, Rain Creates Slick Spots for Commuters

Some towns had snow accumulation overnight while the rest of the state got a rainy mixture.

Slick spots in the hills are expected for Wednesday morning's commute.

Some Northern hill towns saw a light dusting of snow overnight but the weather was not expected to have a major impact on the morning commute. Most of the state saw rain.

Rain hit along the immediate coast and a mixture hit through the Connecticut River Valley with no snow accumulation.

Wednesday, the snow and rain ends early in the morning and the sky remains cloudy. Highs Wednesday will be near 40, so any snow that sticks will melt fairly quickly.

Thursday and Friday will be partly cloudy, as temperatures fall. A snow shower is possible both days.

High temperatures will only be in the 30s on Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

Morning low temperatures will be in the teens Saturday and Sunday mornings, so many ski areas will likely start to make some snow.
