Something stinks at police headquarters on Reef Road in Fairfield. Fish parts and bird droppings are now falling from the sky after a pair of ospreys built a nest in the cell tower over the building, according to a report by the Connecticut Post.
"One day, I was walking out and a fish head dropped down from the sky," Sgt. James Perez told the newspaper.
Chief David Peck said officials considered moving the ospreys, but environmental rules prevented them from doing so.
The birds are not a threatened or endangered species in Connecticut, but are granted protected status.
