NBC Connecticut Partners With Special Olympics For Unified Bowling

Nearly 20 NBC Connecticut employees and their families bowled Sunday with Special Olympics athletes at the organization's Unified Sports Holiday Classic.

For the past seven weeks, unified teams from the West Hartford chapter practiced at Callahan's Bowl-O-Rama in Newington.  Sunday was the big finale at the state tournament in Milford.

Members of the team from NBC Connecticut include: Ryan Hanrahan, Max Reiss, Jill Konopka, Kate Rayner, and employees from all the station's departments.

The event is open to the public and spectators are welcome to cheer on the athletes.
