After two packages “flared up” at Maryland government offices, officials at all state buildings in Connecticut were notified and given information about proper procedures to use in identifying suspicious packages.
The ATF and FBI are investigating in Maryland, and a spokesperson for the state Department of Emergency Management said there is no immediate threat to the state of Connecticut.
