A state police cruiser has been hit on Interstate 691 and injuries are reported.
The cruiser was struck in the left lane, between exits 3 and 4, in the area of Cheshire, Southington and Meriden.
It's not clear if the state trooper or a civilian was injured.
Traffic is backed up to Interstate 84.
No additional information was immediately available.
