State police are investigating the untimely death of a 60-year-old Danielson man who was found at a Pomfret state park on Sunday morning.
State troopers responded to Mashamoquet Brook State Park, which is located at 147 Wolf Den Drive in Pomfret Center at 9:10 a.m. after someone reported that a man was found unresponsive and found Keith Gingras.
Medics who responded to the scene pronounced him dead.
Police are investigating and Trooper Kelly Grant, a state police spokesperson, said there "is no criminal aspect" to the death.
The officer of the medical examiner will determine what caused Gingras' death.
