A Connecticut State Police trooper was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after a car accident in Chaplin Wednesday night.
State police said they're responding to the crash on Hampton Road. It happened at about 5:30 p.m.
State police said two people were transported to nearby hospitals. The extent of their injuries is unknown at this time.
The state Department of Transportation said Route 6 is closed at Nyberg Road. The scene remains active.
