An 18-year-old was shot in the leg while sitting in a vehicle in New Haven Friday afternoon.
Police said the victim was in the parked car on Cave Street near Winchester Avenue when he was shot. He drove to Newhall and Huntington streets and called police.
The victim’s injuries were not life-threatening and he was taken to the hospital for treatment.
