A 17-year-old boy who was shot in the right shin in Bridgeport on Tuesday night told police that the shots might have come from a passing vehicle.
The teen was shot around 9:45 p.m. near 1326 Stratford Ave. and a private vehicle brought him to Bridgeport Hospital. His injuries are not life-threatening, police said.
The teen told police he was walking on the sidewalk and the shots might have come from a passing vehicle, but he didn’t see who shot him.
The person who was with the victim said he knows nothing and saw nothing.
Police found two spent shell casings at the scene and recovered one bullet from a parked vehicle nearby.
Police are investigating.
