A group of men robbed and attacked a man on Blake and Jewel streets in New Haven on Saturday night and stole from him, police said.
The victim told police four men confronted him and stole his backpack, money and sweatshirt. They ran from the scene and have not been located at this time, according to police.
One of the men was in his 20s, 5-foot-6, thin and 150 pounds and wore a white T-shirt and hat, the victim told police. Another man in the group was 5-foot-8 and heavy and was wearing a blue shirt, police said.
No descriptions were immediately available for the other two men.
