Call to Rep to Step Down After Woman's Death

Connecticut's Republican Party chairman is calling for a Democratic State Representative to step down.  Chris Healy says there are still a lot of questions surrounding Rep. James O'Rourke's actions the night a woman died in Rocky Hill.

O'Rourke, who represents Rocky Hill in the General Assembly says he gave 41-year-old Carol Sinisgalli a ride the night she died.

He told police Sinisgalli jumped into his car at a Cromwell bar late on the night of Jan. 21.  But he says after driving for a while, Sinisgalli jumped out and ran off.  Her body was found the next day, police say she had frozen to death.

Investigators have questioned O'Rourke, but have never linked him to the woman's death.

O'Rourke has not responded to Healy's call for his resignation.
