The ramp to Interstate 91 north from Route 40 in North Haven is closed after a tractor-trailer rollover in the area, and fire officials say hazardous materials are involved.
Police said the crash has closed the ramp to I-91N from Route 40, and the ramp to Route 40 west from I-91N. The North haven Fire Department is on scene alongside Connecticut State Police, Connecticut Department of Transportation, the Department of Energy and Environmental Protection and other agencies.
Drivers should avoid the area. Firefighters anticipate the road being closed for several hours.
