Traffic Light Issue at Railroad Crossing Causing Delays in South Windsor

Police are asking people to avoid the area of Routes 30 and 5.

Police are asking people to avoid the area of Routes 30 and 5 in South Windsor because a traffic light at the railroad crossing is stuck and there is a traffic backup.

Police said railroad staff are responding to address the issue. 

In the meantime, drivers are asked to avoid the area until further notice.
