Someone Might Really Want Your Old Hockey Mask

You’ve held onto your old baseball collection, knowing, just knowing, that it could be worth something someday. That day just might be here.

The Great Treasure Hunt is coming to Hartford.

The “We Buy Treasure Team” will evaluate and make offers on gold, silver, jewelry, coins, toys, comic books, guitars, watches, sports cards, memorabilia and many other pre-1965 collectibles.

For more than 20 years, The Great Treasure Hunt has scoured the countryside buying these items.

The road show is in East Hartford through March 14. It is being held at the Holiday Inn at 363 Roberts St., from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Some recently found treasures including:

  • A1940s Stan Musial Game Jersey worth over $50,000 bought from Pottsville, Penn.
  • The Estate of Ty Cobb bought from his last Doctor, Rex Treeslink
  • A gigantic vintage sports card collection worth more than $200,000
  • A Batman #1 Comic Book
  • Millions of dollars in gold and silver.

This event is free. No appointment is needed.

As a word of advice: If you have concerns about an item, feel free to get another estimate before handing anything over to someone else.
