Part of a tree came down across Old Stafford Road near Slater Road in Tolland on Friday morning.
The tree appeared to be hanging on power lines.
Police were not yet on the scene. It was not clear if the road would be closed.
Tolland County Dispatch said they had received several calls regarding problems due to the early morning snow.
